About Living Sky Café
Living Sky Café is a locally owned, female-driven establishment nestled in the historic Glengarry Building in the heart of downtown. We take pride in offering a thoughtfully crafted breakfast and lunch menu, complemented by signature beverages and heartwarming baked goods.
Our journey began as a small, family-run catering company, where a deep love for food and hospitality took root. That passion led us to open our first café in 2014 inside the Mendel Art Gallery, where we served counter-service breakfast, lunch, and catering.
That space became our stepping stone—a place to experiment, refine our menu, and connect with our community. After two and a half years of growth and loyal support from our customers, we were ready to find our forever home. Today, Living Sky Café continues to be a welcoming gathering place, fueled by creativity, connection, and a love for great food.
Finding Our Home
In December 2017, we found our forever home. Over the next six months, we poured our hearts into designing and renovating a space that truly reflects who we are. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of so many people, and we are endlessly grateful for each and every one of them.
On May 4, 2018, we proudly opened our doors, serving brunch and lunch crafted with our deep love for food, drink, and community.
Meet Jenna
Jenna grew up surrounded by the restaurant industry, with her mother deeply involved in food service. Over the years, Jenna has worked in various roles, from diners to fine dining, breakfast cafés to bustling bars.
She and Taylor first met in high school, forming a friendship that grew into a shared love for hospitality. Jenna briefly joined Living Sky Café during its time at the Mendel Art Gallery before returning as co-owner in 2018 when Taylor secured the café’s new location on 3rd Avenue.
Since then, Jenna has been a driving force behind the café’s success. Her dedication, positivity, and work ethic are unmatched, and she continues to pour her heart into both the café and the team. We wouldn’t be the same without her!
Meet Taylor
Taylor’s love for food began in childhood, leading her to the restaurant industry. At 20, she launched her first venture, Made With Love Foods, a small catering business run alongside her parents.
A few years later, she seized the opportunity to run the café inside the Mendel Art Gallery. With the help of her family, she renovated the space in just one week and opened the doors.
After three great years, Taylor was ready to grow. Moving to 3rd Avenue turned a dream into reality, creating the perfect space to expand her passion for food, hospitality, and entrepreneurship.

Meet Ma & Pa
Jackie and Steve have been Taylor’s biggest supporters from day one. From helping launching her first catering company to opening the Mendel Art Gallery café, they’ve been all-in on the vision and values of Living Sky Café.
Jackie is a dedicated server who loves seeing guests enjoy their meals and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Her friendly presence adds to the true family experience we’re known for, especially during the busy weekend brunches.
Steve has been the backbone of every expansion, building and renovating each space while providing unwavering support along the way. His dedication and hard work have been essential to making Living Sky Café what it is today. We wouldn’t be here without them!
